The double bed room was large, comes with a comfortable bed and a small but well equipped pantry (coffee machine, water boiler, induction cooker, cutleries but no mini fridge). The housekeeping staff did a good daily job. Check in and out was a breeze for me. I also like the hotel location which is a leisurely 8-10 minute walk from Dammtor Train Station, through Hamburg University grounds.

It covers several end 19th Century houses in the villa quarter close to the railway station Dammtor Bahnhof. It is not the first time I have stayed there and will not be the last time.

An independent hotel in an excellent location. In a very charming way the rooms and facilities are slightly old fashioned. The breakfast, which cannot be booked via Booking.com (but directly with the hotel) is excellent and served in a charming breakfast room.
